TISCO Financial Group's board of directors led by Pliu Mangkornkanok, Chairman of the Board, received the Board of the Year Awards 2010/11. This year TISCO Group received 2 prestigious awards; “Board of the Year for Distinctive Practice” and “Audit Committee of the Year”. The awards were held by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD), in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), The Thai Chamber of Commerce, The Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Bankers Association, Thai Listed Companies Association and Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations to honor the top performing boards of the SET listed companies and help promote good corporate governance practice, the ceremony was held at Plaza Athenee Hotel, recently.

TISCO Foundation for Charity by Pattira Wattanawarangkul, Manager of the foundation has received a certificate of "Jit Arsa Tam Dee Mee Khon Hen" (¨ÔµÍÒÊÒ·Ó´Õ ÁÕ¤¹àËç¹) from Krisna Sihalak , Prime Minister's Office Minister under the project of Song Tor Kham Dee Mai Mee Wan Mood (Ê觵èͤÇÒÁ´Õ äÁèÁÕÇѹËÁ´), as the organization who volunteered for the public and had inspired on Thai society as a social practice of volunteering to the public. The project was hosted by the Board of Public Affairs to celebrate His Majesty the King's Seventh Cycle Birthday on 5 Dec 2011, at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel recently.

| TISCO – Mizuho Support Flood Relief |
|
TISCO Group led by Oranuch Apisaksirikul, CEO of TISCO Group, and Suthas Ruangmanamongkol, President of TISCO Bank Plc., together with Mizuho Financial Group led by Noritaka Takahashi, General Manager of Bangkok Branch, and Hideyuki Takeuchi, Joint General Manager of Bangkok Branch, Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd., handed over a donation for flood relief to The Thai Red Cross Society. Portions of the proceeds, 5 million baht was from TISCO Group, donated by customers, employees and the company, and another 30 million yen was donated by Mizuho Financial Group, TISCO Group's partner. Total proceeds of this donation via “TISCO for Disaster Relief” saving account is more than 17 million baht, received by M.R. Priyangsri Watanakun, Assistant Secretary General in Fund Raising & Director of Fund Raising Bureau, The Thai Red Cross Society, recently.

|
TISCO Group by Yutiga Sonthayanavin, Chief Information Officer of TISCO Financial Group Plc. handed over the donation of 1,000,000 Baht to “Capital market unites to help flood victims fund” to Chanin Vongkusolkit , Chairman of Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA) which established a flood relief fund for contributions from its members to help recovering the flood victims after inundation. The donation ceremony was recently held at the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

| TISCO Annual Scholarship |
|
TISCO Foundation for Charity held the 2011 annual scholarship presentation ceremony presided by Sivaporn Dardarananda, Vice Chairman, and Pliu Mangkornkanok, Director, with senior management of TISCO participation at the Auditorium of the Public Relations Department recently. Year to date, TISCO Foundation already granted 6,000 scholarships worth 19 million baht to the needy students at all educational levels nationwide.
TISCO Foundation for Charity was established in 1982 as a declaration and commitment to provide educational support to needy students. Until now, the Foundation granted 200 million baht scholarships to students at all educational levels nationwide.

TISCO Group led by Pliu Mangkornkanok (2nd from left), Chairman of the Board, and Oranuch Apisaksirikul (1st from left), CEO of TISCO Financial Group, recently gave 1,824,000 baht donation to Hiroshi Kato (2nd from right) and Noritaka Takahashi (1st from right), executives of Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd., Bangkok Branch. Those proceeds, donated by TISCO Group and its employees and customers via a bank account, were passed to Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd., Bangkok Branch, and it will eventually be given to the Japanese Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

to support expansion and achieve service excellence |
TISCO Financial Group Plc. has selected IBM technology to upgrade its banking infrastructure to support future growth and make improvements to the banking group’s service commitment, delivery and efficiency.
In order to achieve their vision of providing leading financial services to every customer and extending their services to reach a wider group of customers, TISCO Financial Group needed to ensure its information technology platform was robust and flexible to support business growth.
TISCO Financial Group turned to IBM to upgrade their systems. The IBM solution comprises Power 770 systems for doubled data processing capacity and IBM Tivoli for fast problem identification and increased performance in IT service level. IBM also manages operating and core banking systems that are designed and built to back up to a central computer center

Hardware and software - With the implementation of IBM Smarter Systems, TISCO Financial Group is the first local customer to implement IBM Power 770 servers. The servers deliver performance, availability, efficiency and flexibility for virtualization with doubled data processing capacity. They also help reduce space needed for physical placement while minimizing energy usage. Moreover, TISCO Financial Group has developed software that is compatible with WebSphere software on the IBM Power 770 and comprises TISCO e-banking, deposit and loan information, TISCOASSET E-trading service and securities fund transactions online.
IT Infrastructure Management and Monitoring System - TISCO Financial Group has selected IBM Tivoli software to assist the bank to understand and proactively manage the business value of its IT infrastructure including servers, networks, database, transactions and applications. All information is then gathered and displayed on the central screen or dashboard to enable fast problem identification and increased performance in IT service level. This improved visibility into business service performance enables the system administrator to identify errors and fix them on timely basis.
Outsourcing services and other - Management services such as operating and core banking systems are designed and built to back up to a central computer center. This is the continuing service since TISCO trusted IBM to operate core banking.
